Amazing! Is just one word from the list of many, I would choose to describe this street painting.
The man behind this great design is Peter Westerink, along side his team of other street artist based in Netherlands. Since 2003, he has been pioneering in the field of fine art and international Street Painting. He then became a full time entrepreneur, specialising in unique and breath taking street paintings.
My initial reaction to this particular design was wow! The amount of detail which has been taken into consideration, makes this design that much special. Shading, colour and even shapes introduced are a number of key factors that were examined in depth by Peter Westerink.
Another important aspect I love about this design is the meaning behind it. Originally it was created for the Sarasota Chalk Festival in Florida, however the actual design depicts the vast army of Qin Shi Huang, China’s first emperor. Figures such as warriors, chariots and even horses have all been included to create a similar army.
Street Painting as a whole is an amazing talent to have. It takes time, patience and of course a creative mind, which Peter Westerink obviously has.
